Shared vCPU servers share CPU resources with other users - perfect for most workloads. Dedicated CPU servers have guaranteed CPU cores - ideal for high-performance applications, databases, or consistent workloads.
Upgrades are instant and can be done anytime via your control panel. Downgrading is limited because disk size cannot be reduced - if your current disk is 80 GB, you cannot move to a server with 40 GB disk. Contact us to discuss options like migrating data to a new smaller server.
All servers include 20 TB outbound traffic per month. Incoming traffic is unlimited and free (not counted). Additional outbound traffic is billed at €1 net per TB and added to your next monthly invoice. Network speeds range from 1-10 Gbit/s depending on server type.
Yes! Block Storage Volumes let you add extra SSD storage (10 GB to 10 TB) for €0.044/GB/month. Volumes mount like an extra hard drive and can be resized anytime. Important: Volumes are NOT included in server backups - back them up separately.
Both are complete disk images (OS, apps, data - everything) stored separately from your server in a different physical location (different fire zone). Backups: 7 automatic daily copies. Snapshots: 6 monthly copies. One-click restore: rebuild your entire server instantly from any backup or snapshot.

7-Day Backups 7-Day Backups are great for quick recoveries. But what if a virus infects your server and you don't notice for 2 weeks? All 7 backups are infected too!
6-Month Snapshots 6-Month Snapshots give you restore points from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 months ago. Even if something goes unnoticed for weeks, you can always go back to a clean state.
Cost? Just ~€1-2/month for a typical server. Peace of mind? Priceless.

Both are "crash-consistent" - like pulling the power cord. The filesystem recovers fine (journaled), but databases may have uncommitted transactions in memory. For databases, always use pg_dump/mysqldump before backup/snapshot for true transaction consistency.
Enterprise-grade DDoS protection is included free. Traffic is automatically filtered and malicious requests are blocked before reaching your server.

Prohibited: Cryptocurrency mining (including staking), DDoS attacks, spam/open mail relays, network scanning, and illegal content. Violations result in immediate suspension without refund.
EU 14-day withdrawal right applies. You can cancel within 14 days for a refund, minus the pro-rata cost for days used and any extras. Example: €20/month server used for 14 days with 5 TB extra traffic = €20 - €10 (14 days) - €5 (traffic) = €5 refund. Domains are non-refundable.
