No Tracking Cookies, No Advertising, No Cookie Banner
This website uses only technically necessary cookies that are essential for the operation of the website. According to Art. 5 para. 3 of the ePrivacy Directive, no consent is required for these cookies. That is why we do not display a cookie banner.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They are used to enable certain functions and to store information between page views.
2. What cookies do we use?
2.1 Technically necessary cookies (session cookies)
We use only technically necessary session cookies that are required for the proper operation of the website:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session-ID | Maintaining the session during use | Until browser is closed |
| CSRF-Token | Protection against cross-site request forgery | Until browser is closed |
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision of the service) in conjunction with Art. 5 para. 3 of the ePrivacy Directive (exemption from consent requirement for technically necessary cookies).
3. What we do NOT use
This website does NOT use:
- ✕ Tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.)
- ✕ Advertising or marketing cookies
- ✕ Social media cookies (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- ✕ User profiling cookies
- ✕ Cross-site tracking cookies
- ✕ Third-party advertising cookies
4. Why no cookie banner?
According to the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5 para. 3) and its interpretation by data protection authorities, no consent is required for technically necessary cookies.
Since we only use such cookies, displaying a cookie banner is not legally required. A cookie banner would even be misleading in our case, as it would suggest that we use cookies requiring consent - which is not the case.
Legal basis for not displaying a cookie banner:
- Art. 5 para. 3 ePrivacy Directive (2009/136/EC)
- § 25 TTDSG (German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act)
- DSK Guidance on Telemedia (2021)
5. Managing or deleting cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. However, please note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of this website.
